Hi there, I’m the founder of Heklin, an independent EdTech review platform focused on helping adults learn smarter — not harder.

I analyze language learning apps, AI-powered tools, and emerging education technologies from two perspectives:
as a hands-on learner and as a critical analyst. My goal is simple: help you cut through hype and choose tools that actually improve learning outcomes.

My Background in Learning & Languages

Originally from Denmark, I’ve made my home in four different European countries over the years. I speak four languages fluently and continue learning new ones — Italian being my most recent deep dive after living in Italy.

My background includes O- and A-levels and two years of higher education as a Market Economist, with formal studies in English, German, French, and Italian.

More importantly, I’ve learned languages the hard way:
